Brandon WhitesideExecutive Director “Caring for those who can not care for themselves” is what Brandon Whiteside feels called to do. A nursing home administrator since 2005, his career has taken him to Loudon, Madison, Ripley and Clarksville, Tenn. Throughout his training and various assignments, Whiteside has found interacting with the residents and their families most rewarding. He strives to make sure both the residents and staff members have a loving environment in which to work and live.
Whiteside is a native of Madison, Tenn. He attended Austin Peay State University, earning an associate’s degree in liberal arts and a bachelor’s degree in health care administration. It was during a geriatrics class that he discovered his calling in life. He has embraced his career and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those he touches. Whiteside greets everyone with an open-door policy and invites all Summit View residents and family members to share with him the good times as well as concerns.
As executive director, Whiteside is responsible for the daily operations of the facility and its compassionate, professional staff. With a caring eye toward home-like comfort, he ensures Summit View has state of the art equipment and is in compliance with all Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
Whiteside loves spending family time with his wife and two daughters. He has enjoyed visiting the mountains of East Tennessee all his life and is thrilled to be back in the beauty of the mountains – at Summit View of Lake City.
